Reading the Landscape
(Interventions)

During hiking through the sedimentary landscapes of the Lechquellen region in August 2026, temporary interventions emerged from materials found on site. Rather than adding something foreign to the landscape, the arrangements follow existing structures, fractures, bedding planes and rhythms already present in the rock.
The works remain ephemeral. They are neither sculptures nor permanent markings, but brief acts of attention — ways of reading geological form through equally geological material.
The photographs record moments of attention before the arrangements disappear again.Andrea Nagl © 2026
